This seemed to be more of a guessing game, rather than a puzzle game.
1. I never knew that the husband can tie knots. There was not a single hint or indication at it.
2. The little wooden cube can pop a trunk? Sounds really illogical, and again, there was no clue. Perhaps there should've been a description saying "I can use this to break something open."
3. The pen in the husband's shirt pocket didn't really show up until you got into the little store. Even then, I had no idea I was supposed to take it. I thought it was just... there!
4. The spray-can in the little girl's butt pocket, same case as above.
5. I didn't know I was supposed to set the flies on fire and thus the cat, because I had no idea what good setting the cat aflame would do, beforehand. Which by the way, completely changed the serious atmosphere of the game, in a rather bad way.
6. The video tape in the trash perhaps, and the video tape above the dairy product freezer. There wasn't a clue left behind to point it out, and I don't remember seeing a sparkle to indicate it either...
7. I was oblivious to the hairpin hidden in the little photo. I also didn't know there was a frame around the picture.
This game probably would've taken ages to complete without a walkthrough. The significant items are hidden too well.
I did like the background art. Major eye-candy.
The voice acting was also top notch (and familiar?) and really set the atmosphere for the story. I really could feel how serious the situation was, until the cat played a comical role.
The storyline seemed a little... uninspired. It felt very deja vu. Let's see, we have a stranded couple, a little helpless girl, a delusional madman (who was predictably the antagonist), and a casual man to rival the antagonist, which then triggers his deeper personality. I felt like I've seen this scenario before. And the ending wasn't none too jaw-dropping either.
I also didn't like having to depend too much on the other characters too move the plot forward. It would've been nice to have figured it out myself.
The character models were pretty well done, except for the noticeable "anime effects" which I'm not too bright about, and everything moved smoothly.
But the minigame regarding the little race car was a major pain in the ass. Too often my car was caught from an invisible bear trap. Changing the angle and perspective of that little game would be nice.

Status bars here would've been totally helpful.
Status bar for when you reload, because although I get the faster reloading upgrade, the sound of the weapon reloading plays as though I never got it. A status bar showing the progress of the reloading would be nice, so we would know when we could fire. It's confusing.
Also, a status bar for the barricades. I get really paranoid about the damage done to the barricades, because when you repair them, they look new, but when one single zombie takes one swipe at it, it looks like it's gonna break already.
This shouldn't be mandatory, but I think the harder zombies that take longer to kill should have health bars hovering by them.
The game is loads of fun, even though the swarm of zombies is extremely ridiculous. The idea of purchasing new areas is quite innovative, as it forces the player conserve money, especially when there are better weapons in some areas.
It's not scary, but it definitely knows how to implement the feeling of panic... In me, at least.
But, the idea of the top down view has been done before, many many times. We're all beginning to tire of it. And we all love status bars.

For one, I respectfully agree with other people about their opinions of this game being a mock version of Unreal or Quake. The resemblance of this game to those mentioned are too noticeable, such as the weapons, the character modles, and the (satisfying) splatter animation.
For a FPS flash game, this piece of art does manage to open some eyes and shift some head.
I found it amusing and impressive, the graphics and presentation was the strongest point in the game.
But I found it really disappointing when all I could do was move left and right. The option of being able to turn left and right would've been nice, and it should've been a free-roaming game.
It can be a little innovative, because nobody's ever really thought of a dodgeball game with bullets, but this concept grows tiring really quickly.

One of the best animation opening sequences I've seen lately. The animation and movement of the zombies are very crisp, as is the blood splatter effect.
I wasn't too bright on the floating handgun idea, as it made the game far too easy. What I found to be completely challenge-depriving was the privilege of being able to but my weapon right in the zombie's faces and click.
Not too shabby.

The humor wasn't really so great enough to make me laugh. The most it was able to do was make me smile a little bit.
And it seemed to drag on a bit too long.

It seems that no matter the best answer I choose in the emotional category, I always get an F. Perhaps there's a bug? I've reviewed and looked through all the answers, and I've never been able to get anything higher than an F in the emotional rating.
This is probably one of the most innovative Zombie quizzes, testing knowledge, body, mind, and emotion and predicting one's chance of survival. It's like, if I'm fat, I KNOW I'm gonna die soon.
Music was really disturbing but invigorating, but the text was a little bit dull. The text in the results had more variety. I guess word format doesn't matter, but quizzes are usually made of words so...
Great job, all you need really is to fix the emotional rating problem, or post the answers right on the page so I could peek at them when I take the quiz again...

Yeah, I get what you're saying.
There's a revised grade system in number 2.

Funny, Ash's voice, and you editing out Brock's voice so that he just looked like he was staring in aroused awe.
A preloader would've been nice, and maybe even a tape that wasn't night-vision. Also, needs some kind of conclusion, if it's possible to even make one in this case.

Your picture can't have a white background AND be a .gif, because if you save your picture as a .gif with a white background, it automatically transparent-ifies.
This is extremely good for a first flash. Keep it up. Hope to see more flash from you.

I however, will add this to my favorites, since I am a big fan of the movie and your flash has some potential.
Everything was decent, smoothe and whatnot. I find the background and city and stuff to be the biggest and most notable aspect of the flash, since they are drawn (animated?) so well. Character models were okay, especially Sam, the dog. My suggestion would be to tone down the detail and complexity to the Will Smith character, and try a different model of him.
Overall, it was worth watching, even taking a quick glance at but nonetheless.
4 out of 5; 8 out of 10.
